We couldn’t be more excited by the great reception Class Codes, our newest feature, had with our users and followers. Everyone is excited that Class Codes came just in time for signing up parents to the new school year, and now that that’s behind us, we’ve been receiving many questions from everywhere about upcoming new features coming to our app.

Well, we heard you, and here is a quick update on what is coming next for Bloomz:

Content Translation:

We have the most amazing users from the most diverse places, and we’ve heard from so many teachers about the challenges to communicate with parents when they don’t speak the same language. This is where technology can have a great impact in people’s lives – creating a bridge where there was none before!

Introducing Content Translation from Bloomz: With this new feature parents and teachers from different backgrounds and languages will be able to translate each other’s posts, comments and announcements, with one simple click!

Expect this new feature to be released next week. *

TEXT Signups and Notifications:

Yes! That’s right, our most anticipated features is now coming to Bloomz. With TEXT support for signups and notifications, teachers can stop worrying about those parents who haven’t made the jump to smartphones or who don’t have an email address. With this feature, parents will be able to sign up and join a classroom using only their phone number. Plus, thanks to TEXT notifications, they will receive communications like posts, notifications and alerts** from the teacher in text format on their feature phone.

You can expect this feature to launch by the end of August. *
